The bobbin-wound filter is manufactured by computerized fiberglass filament winding technology. This provides the mechanical strength of the filter tank and its ability to withstand pressure. 

The sidemount SP Series Filters withstand many years of prolonged exposure to sunlight. The UV-resistant one-piece blow-molded filter tank has been well-received by the industry, not only because of the durability of the material, but also due to its reliable performance and economy.
